So about 4 months ago I walked into Owens Gym and met Chris White a personal trainer who not only showed me around the Owens facility, but also began a training program to help me not only regain my strength, but also maintain my cardio health.  Over the time we have been working together I have reduced my weight by almost 5% and increased my upper body strength measurements by about 70% from where I began!  The results are undeniable, and I haven’t felt this good in many, many years.

Noah began training with Chris White at Owens Gym just after he turned 13.  His strength and jumping ability has greatly improved over the past  5 months with tremendous gains.  He has taken a real interest in training with Chris' help and loves to lift weights.  I've seen him learn and grow from a beginner without great form, to a young man with work ethic, good form, and purpose when he walks into the gym.  

Just today he said, "Nothing is ever easy. You've got to work hard if you want something."  Whether you're into sports or not, hearing that from your child is a good thing.

I would encourage and recommend parents and young athletes talk to Chris about developing a plan for getting stronger.  As a former middle and high school coach, I know the difference that targeted weight training can make in an athlete's performance.  As a parent, I can't wait to see how his off-season training pays off in the upcoming basketball and baseball seasons!

I decided to take on the 12-week shred program because it was something that was new to me as it involved my diet as well as a new set of workouts which was exciting. The biggest help for me personally was the diet aspect and tracking my calories. Chris was able to take my love for food and skew the meal plan to perfectly match my tastes. I also enjoyed the type of workouts Chris created for me as the split was something I had never done before.

After these 12 weeks my body feels great! I would definitely recommend this program to anyone serious enough to make a proper change. Chris ensures a great outcome as he alters your meal plan to match your food preferences, changes your workouts week to week to make sure you are progressing the entire time, and follows up with you to make sure you are putting in the work and challenging yourself.
